# Call Details

> Configure how the AI presents your business and handles conversations.

Call Details is a structured form that defines the AI's knowledge and behavior during a call. Instead of writing a raw prompt, you fill in labeled fields and the AI uses them to hold natural conversations.

## Website scanning

At the start of campaign setup, you can enter your website URL and hyzl will scan it in the background. hyzl extracts the scanned content automatically and uses it as more context when it generates your call script. The AI then has accurate, up-to-date details about your business without you having to enter everything manually.

Website scanning is optional and non-blocking: you move straight to the next step while the scan runs. Once the scan completes, the extracted website info appears as an editable section inside the form. You can review and adjust it before launching.

## Fields

The Call Details form uses conversational questions to gather what the AI needs to know. The AI uses each answer to shape how it introduces itself and handles conversations.

| Question                                        | What to Enter                                                           |
| ----------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **What industry are you in?** | Your business category (e.g. Real Estate, Home Services) |
| **Who are you?** | Your name and company, which is how the AI identifies itself |
| **Who is the AI calling?** | A description of your target audience |
| **Is the AI calling as you or your assistant?** | Whether the AI presents as you directly or as your assistant |
| **Assistant Name** | The name the AI uses for itself (if calling as your assistant) |
| **What's the goal of the conversation?** | The outcome you want (e.g. book a demo, qualify interest) |
| **What will the AI offer to the client?** | Your core value proposition |
| **What can it do for the client?** | Specific benefits or outcomes the client gets |
| **Client success stories or existing clients** | Social proof the AI can reference during the call |
| **Additional notes** | Anything else the AI should know (objection handling, do-not-say, etc.) |

## Call Script

The Call Script section exposes the full prompt that governs the AI's persona and call flow. It has three editable parts:

* **Role Summary**: who the AI is and what company it represents
* **Personality and Tone**: how the AI should sound (e.g. professional, friendly, concise)
* **Structured Call Flow**: the step-by-step structure of the conversation (confirming the right person, opener, discovery, pitch, objection handling, close)

You can edit any of these fields directly. Changes here override the defaults generated from your Call Details fields.

<Note>
  Generated scripts always confirm they have reached the right person before pitching. The AI opens by checking the contact's identity and waits for confirmation before launching into the intro or offer. When a contact's name is on file, the AI confirms by name. For example: "Hi, is this John?". When no name is on file, it confirms by role or reason for the call instead. For example: "Hi, am I speaking with the decision maker?".
</Note>

<Tip>
  Use the **AI-assisted generator** to create a call script automatically. Click
  **Generate Script** and provide a short instruction. For example: "Write a
  script for a commercial cleaning company targeting office managers". The AI
  uses your call details, website, and training files as more context.
</Tip>

## Upload training files

Upload supporting materials the AI can draw on during calls:

* **Audio files** (`.mp3`, `.wav`, `.m4a`, `.ogg`, `.flac`, `.webm`): call recordings or voice samples
* **Documents** (`.pdf`, `.txt`, `.md`, `.csv`, `.doc`, `.docx`): product sheets, FAQs, pricing guides
* **Spreadsheets & presentations** (`.xlsx`, `.xls`, `.pptx`, `.ppt`)
* **Images** (`.png`, `.jpg`, `.jpeg`, `.gif`, `.webp`)

Up to **10 files**, each up to **10 megabytes**. Training files give the AI factual grounding beyond what you enter in the form fields.

hyzl saves uploaded files to your account-wide **Training Materials** library (at `/dashboard/ai-calling/training-materials`), where you can review and bulk-delete them. A file uploaded once can serve future campaigns too.

## Industry

The industry you choose on the campaign is not just a label. It shapes how the AI speaks. Industry choice changes the underlying system prompt. Each industry frames you as a professional in that field. It also adapts the assistant's role, terminology, and tone to your business type. "Insurance" plays a role similar to an insurance sales representative. "Residential Real Estate" plays one similar to a real estate assistant.

Available industries:

* Residential Real Estate
* Commercial Real Estate
* Property Management
* Technology / Software Sales
* E-commerce Sales
* Medical Technology Sales

## Language

Choose the language for the campaign. The AI will speak (and transcribe) calls in that language end-to-end. Each campaign uses one language; if you need to call contacts in multiple languages, create separate campaigns.

Supported languages:

* English
* Spanish
* Multilingual (mixed/dynamic)
* Arabic
* Bulgarian
* Chinese (Mandarin)
* Croatian
* Czech
* Danish
* Dutch
* Filipino
* Finnish

<Warning>
  Make sure your chosen voice supports the language you choose. The library
  filters voices by language. Use the language filter on the [Voice
  Selection](/docs/ai-calling/creating-a-campaign/voice-selection) step to find
  compatible options.
</Warning>

## Raw prompt

The form view is the default editing experience. If the prompt's structure becomes incompatible with the form, the editor automatically falls back to a plain text area. You can edit the full prompt directly there. This happens when you edit the raw prompt text and change the expected section headers. It also happens when you remove required fields.

To return to the structured form view, restore the prompt to a compatible structure. Keep the required section headers and fields intact.
