# Connect RevenueCat

> Connect RevenueCat so hyzl can win back App Store and Play Store members with offer codes.

The App Store, the Play Store, or RevenueCat-managed web billing may bill your subscriptions. Revenue Recovery then connects through **RevenueCat** instead of Stripe. The recovery calls work the same way. What differs is how a save is funded. Apple and Google do not let anyone apply a discount to a subscription directly. The member therefore redeems a RevenueCat save through **App Store offer codes**, from a pool you provide.

## Connect RevenueCat

1. Go to **Integrations** in the sidebar (under **General**)
2. Find the **RevenueCat** card
3. Start the connection

The **New workflow** wizard on the Revenue Recovery **Workflows** page is the other route. Its first step is the connection.

Once you connect, your RevenueCat recovery workflow appears on **Workflows**, alongside any Stripe workflow. Each provider gets its own workflow with its own offer, triggers, and results.

## Connection health

The **RevenueCat** card on Integrations shows the state of your connection:

* **Disconnected** (red): the connection broke, so Revenue Recovery has stopped for your account. This usually means the authorization hyzl holds expired or was revoked in RevenueCat. Only you can restore it: click **Reconnect** on the card and approve the connection again.
* **Status unavailable** (grey): hyzl could not read your connection just now. It is a temporary glitch and does not mean you are disconnected. Click **Retry** to check again.

Your App Store Connect key has its own health message. It is inside **Manage codes** on the Workflows page, not on the Integrations card:

* **Apple rejected your App Store Connect key**: your key is still on file, but Apple refused it. Follow the guidance in the dialog. Replace a revoked key with a new one from App Store Connect. A key missing permissions needs the **Marketing** role or higher. The same message shows on the offer-code setup step.

## Offer codes

RevenueCat saves are funded from your Apple offer-code pool rather than a percentage discount you set in hyzl. The offer-code setup lives on the **Workflows** page behind **Manage codes**:

* Your **App Store Connect key**, so hyzl can work with your offers
* Your **code batches**, which are the offer codes you have generated in App Store Connect
* Your remaining **inventory**, so you can see when the pool is running low

When a member accepts on a call, hyzl texts them a redemption code right after. See [Offer Texts](/docs/revenue-recovery/the-call/offer-texts). If your code pool runs empty, calls that would waste a member's yes pause automatically. A banner on [Analytics](/docs/revenue-recovery/analytics/overview#needs-attention) tells you what happened. Calling resumes on its own the moment you upload more codes.

<Note>
  You configure annual-plan offers for RevenueCat campaigns in App Store
  Connect, not in hyzl. The AI just describes that same offer on the call.
  See [Win-back Offers](/docs/revenue-recovery/workflows/win-back-offers).
</Note>

## Phone numbers

hyzl reads the member's phone number from the reserved **`$phoneNumber`** subscriber attribute in RevenueCat. See [Phone Numbers](/docs/revenue-recovery/setup/phone-numbers) for how to set it and check your coverage.
