# Connect Stripe

> Connect the Stripe account you already use so hyzl can detect cancellations and apply win-back discounts directly in Stripe.

Revenue Recovery connects to a Stripe account you already administer, with subscription billing set up. When a member accepts a win-back offer on a recovery call, hyzl applies the discount directly. It goes to their subscription in your own Stripe account.

## Connect Stripe

1. Go to **Integrations** in the sidebar (under **General**)
2. Find the **Stripe** card
3. Click **Connect Stripe**
4. Sign in to Stripe if prompted
5. Authorize the connection

Once connected, the card shows a **Connected** chip and a **View integration** button. Every detail sits behind that button, in the Stripe panel. Connecting also creates a **cancellation** recovery workflow for you and points you at the [Workflows](/docs/revenue-recovery/workflows/creating-a-workflow) page to review it. Everything you configure from here on lives there, not on the Integrations page.

<Note>
  One exception: if you started the connection from the New workflow wizard's
  **trial** trigger, connecting creates nothing. The trial-end workflow is
  created only when you click **Finalize & Launch** at the end of the wizard.
</Note>

### What the Stripe panel shows

Click **View integration** on the Stripe card to open the panel.

| Field                       | Description                                                                                 |
| --------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Account** | The connected Stripe account, under the panel's title |
| **Phone coverage** | The share of your members who have a phone number on file. Only these members can be called |
| **Recovery fee** | The fee taken on revenue hyzl recovers for you, set by your hyzl plan |
| **Commission-billing card** | The card hyzl invoices the recovery fee to. New accounts add it before recovery calls start |

The panel also lists your recovery workflows and their on/off state. **Open workflows page** takes you to the [Workflows](/docs/revenue-recovery/workflows/creating-a-workflow) page to change them.

### Connected, with warnings

Stripe may report something about your account that could affect Revenue Recovery. Two examples are charges turned off, or an account in test mode. The panel then shows **Connected, with warnings**, along with a description of each issue. The connection still works. Review the warnings in your Stripe dashboard, and resolve them if they affect your ability to collect payment.

## Requirements

* A Stripe account you administer, with subscription billing already set up
* A **commission-billing card on file** for the recovery fee. Add it on the Stripe panel. New accounts add it before recovery calls start
* Members need a **phone number on file** in Stripe. See [Phone Numbers](/docs/revenue-recovery/setup/phone-numbers) for how to get numbers there and check your coverage
* Only **voluntary cancellations** trigger a call. Subscriptions that lapse because a payment failed are not included

## Disconnect Stripe

Click **View integration** on the Stripe card, then click **Disconnect**. A confirm step follows. hyzl immediately stops detecting cancellations and placing recovery calls for that account. Your campaign, past call results, and anything already applied in Stripe are not affected.
