You configure retries per campaign, from the campaign editor’s Missed Call
Retry panel. Turn it on. Set the minimum gap between retries, from 1 to 720
minutes, where the default is 2 hours. Then set Max retries per contact,
which is how many more attempts follow the first miss. That panel governs your
campaign. Switching it off stops retries for that campaign, even if the hyzl
team previously turned retries on for you.
- hyzl re-dials a member who did not answer. Max retries per contact sets how many more attempts follow the first miss. The limit is 5 more attempts, which is six total including the first call. That is the same range as regular campaigns
- Each retry still respects your campaign’s configured calling hours. Retries never call outside the same window your regular calls do
-
Before ever re-dialing, hyzl re-checks the subscription with your billing provider. hyzl never calls about a cancellation that is no longer current. It therefore skips the retry and parks the enrollment when any of these is true:
- The member has resubscribed.
- You or the member un-cancelled it.
- The billing period has already ended.
- If hyzl reaches the member and the call ends in any outcome, no further retries happen. Those outcomes are saved, declined, or, for fully-ended subscriptions, a resubscribe link sent. Only an unanswered call schedules another attempt
- Once hyzl uses up the maximum number of attempts without an answer, it sends one last-resort offer text. The member then still receives the offer they were never reached about. See Offer Texts. After that, the cancellation proceeds as normal
